John F. Roehm III
John Roehm joined Fanning Harper Martinson Brandt & Kutchin, P.C. in 2002 and is licensed to practice in all courts in the state of Texas, the Federal District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
John’s practice includes representation of government entities and public officials in the areas of civil rights, school law, municipal law and employment law, and private sector clients in the areas of real estate, construction defect cases, personal injury litigation and ad valorem taxation in state and federal court.
John began his legal career with the City of Dallas, has over twenty years of legal experience representing government entities and public officials, and has extensive trial and appellate experience. After receiving his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, John earned his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law. While at St. Mary’s, he served on the Legal Research Board.
His memberships include the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, the Texas City Attorneys Association and the Federal Bar Association. John has also served as President of the Dallas Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
A self-professed “’army brat”’ growing up, he calls Texas home and is active in many civic organizations. John also enjoys traveling, snow skiing, tennis and golf.
